Job Summary: The Executive Assistant provides high-level administrative organizational support to the CEO and Tryon Executives.  This role will primarily support the CEO in their day-to-day schedule and workflow, and manage special projects related to the organizational needs and priorities as requested by leadership.  This person serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external parties on all executive matters.

(This is a full-time position that will support the CEO in
 office 4 days and remote one day, Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm).
 
Primary Job Responsibilities:
  • Compiles, edits and prepares documents, correspondence and presentations, independently.  Creates and edits draft material, processes final documents and arranges for distribution.
  • Assists with preparation of Board, management and external meeting presentations and materials.
  • Directs, completes and/or manages special projects as identified by the CEO and other senior leaders within Tryon requiring independent decision-making, discretion and judgment.
  • Prepares sensitive information that is highly confidential in nature.
  • Maintains the schedule of the CEO, coordinating arrangements for meetings.  Manages and prioritizes daily schedule.
  • Arranges executive travel and meetings; develops itineraries and agendas; books other transportation; arranges lodging and meeting accommodations.
  • Acts as liaison between departments to facilitate communication at the executive level.
  • Attends monthly Board of Directors meetings. Records minutes of meetings.
  • Track, manage, and report on all expenses around the executive budget.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
 
Requirements:
Education:
  • High school diploma. Bachelor’s degree in business administration or healthcare preferred.
Experience:​​​​​​​
  • Five years of relevant experience, including one year in a health care organization.
  • Ability to be self-directed, multi- task and work independently.
  • Paralegal experience is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, time and project management skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all team partners. 
  • Experience working in physician services.
