Senior HR Leader 

General Job Summary:  The Senior HR Leader acts as a strategic link between human resources and business leaders, developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with organizational goals. This role involves advising senior leaders on talent management, organizational design, and employee relations, while also partnering with various HR functions to drive effective people strategies and ensure compliance. Key responsibilities include coaching leaders, managing complex employee issues, developing talent, analyzing workforce data, and contributing to a positive and productive work environment.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, integrating HR best practices into business planning and decision-making. 
  • Partner with leaders to develop talent acquisition and development strategies, including succession planning and performance management, to support business growth. 
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, providing guidance and counsel to ensure a fair and respectful work environment. 
  • Drive HR change management initiatives and optimize organizational effectiveness through strategies like organizational design and workforce planning. 
  • Analyze workforce data, such as performance and attrition metrics, to inform business decisions and provide proactive solutions. 
  • Build strong relationships with business leaders, managers, and employees to gain trust and foster a collaborative environment. 
  • Supervise HR staff, foster a responsive and transparent team culture, and lead HR service improvement initiatives.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

Education and Experience:
  • 8+ years of experience managing the HR function.
  • 3+ years of Healthcare Human Resources experience preferred.
  • BA or BS degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience.
  • Significant experience resolving complex employee relations issues.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • Seasoned consulting skills and advanced negotiator with all levels of the organization
  • Strong computer skills including intermediate or above the knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs
  • Ability to think systemically and consult strategically with all levels of managers and leaders.
  • Knowledge of state and federal employment laws and regulations, including experience responding to complaints issued through federal and state government agencies.
  • High-level collaboration & teamwork skills
  • Ability to work under pressure with multiple deadlines and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Can exercise a high degree of professionalism and diplomacy in interactions with all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent judgment and self-awareness
  • Ability to develop thorough talent planning and management solutions.
  • Advanced understanding of employee engagement and retention strategies


Physical Requirements:
  • Work consistently requires walking, standing, sitting, lifting, reaching, stooping, bending, pushing, and pulling.
  • Must be able to lift and support weight of 35 pounds.
  • Ability to concentrate on details.
  • Use of computers for long periods of time.
